HOW TO REGISTRATION FOR TAX IN PAKISTAN

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) registration process in Pakistan involves the following steps:

Obtain a National Tax Number (NTN): This can be done by visiting the nearest Regional Tax Office (RTO) or Tax Facilitation Center (TFC) and submitting the required application along with the necessary documents, such as a copy of your national ID card or passport.

File an application for registration: Once you have obtained an NTN, you will need to file an application for registration with the FBR. This can be done either online or by visiting the nearest RTO or TFC.

Submit required documents: Along with the registration application, you will need to submit certain documents such as proof of business registration, bank statements, etc. The specific documents required will depend on the type of entity you are registering (e.g. individual, company, partnership firm, etc.).

Obtain Taxpayers Identification Number (TIN): Once your registration application is approved, the FBR will issue you a Taxpayers Identification Number (TIN).

File annual returns: After registration, you will be required to file annual income tax returns with the FBR, using your TIN, by the due date.

Note: It’s important to verify the information provided with the FBR website, as rules and regulations are subject to change
